This trail is a community connector trail with no parking, located just off of Topanga Canyon Blvd. The trail gradually climbs its way to the Backbone Trail-Dead Horse Trail. The short hike exposes trail users to the park’s dense vegetation and woody areas. Trail users can hop onto the Backbone Trail to further experience the park, from its rolling grasslands to its tall, oak forests. Staging is available at Trippet Ranch.

To access from Trippet Ranch via Dead Horse Trail, from the PCH, travel north on Topanga Canyon Blvd. Turn right on Entrada Rd. Keep to the left until you reach the park’s main parking lot. From the 101, exit at Topanga Canyon Blvd, drive south to Entrada Rd and turn left into the park’s main parking lot.
