Cage Creek Trail connects Yearling Trail with Crags Road in Malibu Creek State Park. Crags Road serves as the backbone for a number of hikes within Malibu Creek State Park.

Cage Creek Trail can be reached from Mulholland Highway by taking the Cistern Trail to Yearling Trail. From the 101, head south on Las Virgenes Road, turn west (right) on Mulholland Highway and look for parking on the shoulder.
